Chair of Trustees

Helen Sipthorp has been Chair of St Pauls Advice Centre since September 2025, following 4 years as Trustee. Helen brings a wealth of leadership, strategic insight, and lived experience. A former senior voluntary sector professional turned founder of Owl with a Spark, Helen now runs her coaching and consultancy business with a focus on supporting individuals and organisations to thrive during periods of change and growth.

With a deep commitment to social justice, Helen is passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to the support and advice they need to succeed, regardless of background. Her own journey through self-employment and single parenthood gives her a grounded, empathetic perspective that informs her leadership.

Helen lives in St Pauls with her daughter, where she has been for 16 years. She is especially drawn to work that strengthens resilience, builds connection, and champions equity. As Chair, she is proud to support the Centre’s mission to provide free, independent, and high-quality advice to those who need it most.
