June O’Dowd

Advice Worker

June has been giving advice for over 20 years. Originally from Manchester, where she gained a BA in Sociology & Philosophy, she began her career as an adviser working for a variety of agencies there. In 1994, June moved to Bristol and trained as an advice worker at Citizen’s Advice Bureau. She worked for Bristol City Council and the University of the West of England, before joining SPAC in 2001, and is a generalist and immigration specialist adviser. June is passionate about her job and committed to challenging inequality and social injustice.
